This mono printed scarf was great to make. I love the printing process on fabric. I use thickened dyes and apply them on an acrylic plate and then press the plate onto the fabric and you get a print. You never quite know what you will get which is the fun part for me. I do this all along the length of the fabric, which in this case was 109 inches. When I am happy with the results I will paint some more dye in areas, steam set the whole thing and afterwards I am ready to lay the wool. The ends of the scarf are all wool shapes which I embroidered with free motioned stitchery.
